As the quarter progresses you will be posting project process and other content to a blog for assessment. You will be buying a domain name and possibly webhosting. The assessment of your progress depends on the accuracy of the URLs for your website and blog on this page. Unreachable content can earn no credit. Proof links your links on this page and notify the instructor of any changes.

Use of a blog demonstrates students’ web content editing skills and strengthens file management logic. Luckily, Wordpress and Blogger have great user interfaces and are forgiving to newbies.

Week 1: Set up a blog with WordPress, Blogger or other appropriate Content Management System (CMS). Blogger will require a google ID: gmail email address, or other google service.

Please identify yourself on your blog: Add a widget to the sidebar or header of your blog containing at least your first name. Mystery blogs will not be assessed.

Please set your blog to display all entries. Pick a theme which allows for this.

Fill out and submit a comment to this page in the comment field at the bottom of this page containing:
1. The full URL to your blog. Please test its accuracy before submitting: Copy and paste it into a new browser window and proof that it is opening the correct page.

2. When contacting me via email regarding your blog, create hotlinks to the blog posts you are referring to in the email you send.
